He was dead on with his opening observations on inflation. This has been the train wreck coming for decades now- and the reason that I like Ron Paul. One of the only government officials who was willing to tell the truth on monetary matters for decades.
The problem is that those in power know that the one way to rile up the population to fight among themselves and ignore the oligarchs and tyrants is to crash the economy. I like the old saying that the best way to keep people from looking at the powerful is to convince the pitchfork people that the torch people want to take away their pitchforks.
